Mikie Sherrill Has Resorted To Saying That Jack Ciattarelli Has Killed Thousands Of People

It’s an outrageous and patently false allegation, that only a desperate candidate with nothing to lose would ever make. It goes against all norms of campaigning to make such incendiary and specious remarks.

Ciattarelli Announced That He Is Personally Suing Sherrill For "Inflammatory & Irresponsible Allegation"

Ciattarelli did not allow the Mikie Sherrill comments to stand for one second.

Sherrill said:

I think you're trying to divert from the fact that you killed tens of thousands of people by printing your misinformation, your propaganda, and then getting paid to develop an app so that people could more easily get the opioids once they were addicted. Families across the state deserve to know more about that, said Sherrill.

Sherrill now calls Ciattarelli “Opioid Jack.” It’s a disgusting campaign tactic … made by a desperate candidate, who knows that she is losing and needs a game changer.

Ciattarelli Campaign Promptly Responded

Faced with continued questions about her refusal to release disciplinary records that would reveal her true role in the Naval Academy cheating scandal, and pressed about her unusually abbreviated tenure as a federal prosecutor, Mikie Sherrill cracked. In doing so, she claimed - twice - that Jack Ciattarelli "killed tens of thousands of people, including children", a clearly defamatory attack that shocked the moderators, press, and public alike," said Ciattarelli strategist Chris Russell. "In a time where political violence and violent rhetoric are becoming all too prevalent, Mikie Sherrill baselessly and recklessly accusing a political opponent of mass murder in a televised debate crosses the line, said the Ciattarelli campaign.

Sherrill’s False Attacks Come As New Polls Show Ciattarelli Leading Or No Worse Than Even

If a Republican Nominee in New Jersey is even in the polls … That typically means that the Republican candidate is actually leading by several points.

This explains Sherrill’s pivot to gutter political campaigning.

Voters are smart and they don’t typically fall for such desperation tactics.
