The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office thought that their strongest criminal case was against Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small. They were wrong.

In The End …

They had no case whatsoever against Marty Small. In no time at all, an Atlantic County jury acquitted Marty Small on all counts.

And, this was their strongest case.

Dr. La’Quetta Small — Superintendent— Atlantic City Public Schools.

Immediately after Marty Small unanimously won his trial verdict … The La’Quetta Small trial date was moved to March, 2026.

Now, the La’Quetta Small trial has been moved to April 20, 2026.

La’Quetta Small’s trial was previously set to begin on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Following Marty Small’s complete exoneration, there was simply no way that La’Quetta Small would face a jury trial this Monday … and, likely not ever.

La’Quetta Small will never face a jury trial regarding the indictment for one count of Endangering The Welfare of a Child.

It’s Time For The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office

To stop pretending and promptly move to take the steps that will result in dismissing the La’Quetta Small indictment.

When the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office lost bigly to Marty Small … They also lost to La’Quetta Small.

Instead of pursuing the obvious charade that they are reviewing options and want to meet with the victim … they need to just knock it off … suck it up … do the right thing and move before New Jersey Superior Judge Joe Levin to dismiss the La’Quetta Small case without delay.

NOTE: Except for serious errors made in bringing the Marty Small case forward, The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has amassed a great record of accomplishment.

They should avoid any further embarrassment now.
