Off the Streets: Police Arrest Two Wanted for Murder in Northern NJ
Authorities say two suspects wanted for allegedly shooting and killing a man in North Jersey earlier this month have been arrested.
According to the New Jersey State Police, 21-year-old Kenneth Hill of Plainfield was taken into custody on Monday in connection to the death of a man on March 1st.
NJ.com reports Hill is one of two people charged in the incident. 22-year-old Daniel Carrera Cardona of Piscataway was also arrested.
During an investigation,
State Police detectives were contacted by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office to assist with locating Hill. Through various investigative means, detectives determined that Hill was staying at a residence in Plainfield.
Victim
The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office says 26-year-old Steve Camino of North Plainfield was shot on the night of March 1st.
Charges
Hill has been charged with first-degree murder and related weapon charges. Cardona is facing first-degree murder and first-degree conspiracy to commit murder charges. Both are being held in the Somerset County Jail.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
