
Man Wounded in Shooting Sunday Morning in Atlantic City
A 25-year-old man is recovering after being shot early Sunday morning in Atlantic City.
According to the Atlantic City Police Department, officers responded to the 600 block of Maryland Avenue around 2:40 Sunday morning after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. As the approached, an officer was stopped by a shooting victim who was driving from the scene.
That officer rendered aid until another officer transported him to ARMC-City for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
The investigation is being led by the ACPD Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact police at (609) 347-5766.
