[OPINION] President Trump will be Great for Atlantic City: Here’s

United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, NJ-R-2, confirmed yesterday that he has been working with incoming United States President Donald Trump to craft executive action to ban offshore wind turbines on the East Coast.

Had Joe Biden or Kamala Harris won the Presidency, the offshore wind turbines were all systems go. They were racing through - what would typically be - a complex approval process in order to rush the wind farms into existence.

Van Drew has confirmed that executive action will take place within the next few months and it will ban wind turbines along the entire East Coast.

If the wind turbines project was allowed to continue, stable Atlantic City, New Jersey neighborhoods would face two years of disruption … with the burying of high power electrical cables (underground).

A second area where President Trump can directly assist Atlantic City, is to address the issue of residents who have been living without heat and hot water for 3 years.

Atlantic City Councilwoman La Toya Dunston has publicly revealed that her son goes into their car … turns tte heat on … only to go hack into their home and take a cold shower before school.

Dunston’s son is a role model, who excels in academics and sports.

President Trump knows Atlantic City very well. He was never a fan of the local government, however, he loves Atlantic City and for years … Trump spent every Friday through Sunday at the Trump Castle Casino Resort by The Bay.

For more than two of those years, I welcomed President Trump every Friday upon his arrival.

Without a doubt, I can confirm that President Trump really loved Atlantic City, the people and his 3 casino hotels and one non-casino hotel.

President Trump will be great for the Atlantic City casino industry, as no President in American history knows the casino hotel industry as well as President Trump does.

Rarely does a City have the benefit of a sitting United States President who knows the area so well and has decades-long relationships with key shareholders.
