
Pleasantville, NJ, Man Killed in Route 30 Motorcycle Crash
Authorities say a man from Pleasantville was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 30 Sunday night.
Officers with the Atlantic City Police Department responded to the area of mile marker 54 on the eastbound side of Route 30 at around 8:45.
Arriving officers found the operator, Pearl Matthews, 61, of Pleasantville, NJ, had been ejected from his seat. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
A preliminary investigation, which included witness statements, revealed that Matthews left the road and struck a pole.

There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office is assisting in this investigation.
