Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Egg Harbor Township, NJ Truck Crash
In the late evening of Monday, November 11, 2024, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department confirmed that a fatal motor vehicle crash had tragically occurred … involving a truck and a pedestrian, who was attempting to cross a roadway.
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department has released the following statement about the fatal crash as follows:
On Monday, November 11, 2024, at approximately
5:59PM, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the area of Tilton Road and Goldenrod Lane for a motor vehicle crash.
”A 2015 Ford F-150, operated by Anthony Celona, 55 years old from Hammonton, was traveling northbound on Tilton Road when he struck a pedestrian walking across Tilton Road. The pedestrian, Sharon Parker, 78 years old from Egg Harbor Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” said the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.

Egg Harbor Township Police Sergeant Ed Stearns, Officer Thomas Rizzotte, Officer Cody Ng, and Officer Kevin Brady of the EHT Police Traffic Safety Unit are investigating this case.
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department also revealed that “the investigation is on-going at this time. Traffic was detoured in the area for approximately 4 hours while the scene was being investigated.”
