
People in Atlantic City Fail at Social Distancing From Seal
We're supposed to be staying 6 feet away form other humans, but the suggested distance from seals is 150 feet.
Some people in Atlantic City got too close recently.
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center reports that a young seal found on an Atlantic City beach was entangled in a gill net. Passersby, instead of calling for help attempted to free the seal themselves.
Not a good idea says representatives of the stranding center:
