The Phillies successfully got through the Wild Card round with a two-game sweep of the Miami Marlins, earning them a best-of-five National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves, a top division rival of Philadelphia's that also had the best record in the National League this season.

The Phillies are looking to duplicate what they did one season ago against the Braves and earn a trip to the NLCS to face either the LA Dodgers or the Arizona Diamondbacks for a chance to make it back to the World Series.

For the Braves, they’re looking to get revenge for last season and make it back to the NLCS after winning 104 games this season, finishing 14 games ahead of the Phillies in the NL East.

First pitch on Saturday is at 6:07 PM. The game will be live on 97.3 ESPN with the pregame coverage starting at 5:30.

Here’s a look at Saturday’s NLDS opener from Atlanta's Truist Park.

Phillies notes

⚾ The Phillies made one change to their NLDS roster, adding pitcher Michael Lorenzen and dropping utility man Weston Wilson.

⚾ Lorenzen being included is not a surprise, it gives the Phillies another bullpen arm, who can pitch multiple innings if needed. After two outstanding starts, one of which was a no-hitter, he went 2-2 with a 7.96 ERA in his next five starts, before being sent to the bullpen.

⚾ Ranger Suarez gets the Game 1 start against Atlanta, just like he did last season in the NLDS. In one start this season against the Braves, Suárez gave up just one run across six innings.

⚾ The Phillies announced that Zack Wheeler will start Game 2 and Aaron Nola will get the ball in Game 3 in Philadelphia.
