Physical Assault of Child Alleged at Atlantic City, NJ, School (Photos)
An Atlantic City, New Jersey Board of Education candidate has advised that he has spoken with a parent, who is alleging that her son was physically assaulted at the Chelsea Heights School.
Ron Bailey has shared the following narrative with us on Friday, November 1, 2024 as follows:
According to Bailey:
I just wanted to share with another assault that occurred by a security officer on a student yesterday at the Chelsea Heights School, the child was pushed to the ground by another student and the marks shown in the pictures are from where the security guard grab the child by the neck and drug him across the front lawn of the school from the description the parent is telling me she also spoke with the principal who said they will be making a complaint with the dcp&p and the assigned police officer was also made aware of the incident but stated she did not witness the incident occur and would be reviewing the cameras the mother stated to me that she will be seeking legal representation as this is an ongoing situation at the school with her child that is being bullied by other students and the schools refusing to do anything about it.
Here are two photos of the child. We are not revealing the identity of the child or Mother.
Bailey also shared his own thoughts about the alleged physical assault.
“I was deeply angered when I received a call from this concerned parent regarding another incident that occurred in which their child received injuries from a employee at the Chelsea Heights School, this is not the first incident in which their parent has raised concerns about incidents at the school against her children and the lack of action by the school to resolve these issues is a disgrace, parents send their children to school each day with the belief that they are getting a quality education and are placed in a safe environment, yet we see incidents like this being reported frequently,” said Bailey.
The Grandmother and Mother of an autistic child have also recently alleged physical abuse taking place at the Atlantic City Public Schools.
