Popular Fox News Doctor From New Jersey Dies at 45 Years Old

Following a courageous battle against one of the most aggressive forms of cancer, Dr. Kelly Powers has died as a result of glioblastoma, which is a type of brain cancer.

Powers was first diagnosed four years ago in 2020.

Powers fought hard, having multiple brain surgeries, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy treatments.

During her career, Powers appeared regularly on the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Channel.

Until her health issue, you could see Dr. Powers on Fox & Friends, Red Eye Radio and The Willis Report on The Fox Business Channel.

In her obituary, it read that …

“Kelly was an accomplished doctor and surgeon who held several spotlights on TV and magazines. Most important to her was her family."

Powers was a regular go-to source during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The brain cancer was not Powers’ first medical concern.

While doing a live on-air segment on the Fox Business Channel, Powers went into heart failure while doing a heart health segment.

Believe it or not, Powers was actually talking about the subtle heart health signs and warning symptoms that women regularly miss.

Powers had movie star looks, along with a professional and polished on-air demeanor.

Powers and her husband, Steven had a son in 2021, through surrogacy.

Powers was initially doing well with her treatment, however, the cancer returned in 2024 and Powers passed away at her home in Colts Neck, New Jersey on December 1, 2024.

A funeral service for Powers was held this past Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Tower Hill Church in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Powers is survived by her husband, son, parents, and in-laws.
