First of all, this is not an endorsement, this is not a political statement, this is not telling you who you should or shouldn't vote for, this is not telling you that what you believe is wrong or right, this is not anything other than a silly sports-related story that I found interesting. So please, be civil.

In a podcast interview, Presidential candidate Cory Booker said that if the universe aligned and the Giants won the Super Bowl during his time as President, he would invite them to the White House and intentionally refer to them as the "New Jersey Giants."

Booker said, "at that point, I figure I will have swagger, Secret Service, and the nuclear codes. Are they really going to step to me and correct me?"

All in good fun, even if it's a dumb take. Arguing over the name of a team vs. the location is so tired at this point. The Giants started in New York and play just across the river; it's not like MetLife Stadium is in Little Egg Harbor or something. The Cowboys don't play in Dallas, the 49ers don't play in San Francisco, the Bills don't play in Buffalo... who cares?

Really though, it wouldn't be much of a change to make the NY into NJ. Maybe he's got the right idea?
