Prosecutor: Inmate Murders Inmate At NJ Prison On Easter

Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey has confirmed that there has been an Easter Sunday murder at the Monmouth County, New Jersey Correctional Institution.

Linskey has advised that Evan Raczkiewicz hit Daniel Ferrara multiple times on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at 5:20 a.m.

According to Linskey, the attack took place near the kitchen area.

Medical professionals attempted to resuscitate Ferrera, to no avail. Ferrera was pronounced dead at just past 6:00 a.m. this morning.

Raczkiewicz has been charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter.

The case is under investigation by Caitlin Sidley and Joseph Cummings, who are both Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutors.

Violent crime and murder doesn’t take a day off. Not even on Easter Sunday.
