The Atlantic County, New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that two people have been found In Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

They have released the following update:

On Saturday, December 9, 2023, at approximately 8:25 a.m., the Egg Harbor Police Department was dispatched to 2909 Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township, NJ in reference to two unresponsive individuals inside the residence. Officers arrived and located two deceased individuals. These individuals were identified as Thai Tran, 28, and Viet Tran, 53. Both were residents of this address.

A nurse practitioner determined that both individuals were dead at the scene.

The cause of their death will be determined by the South Regional Medical Examiner’s Office following autopsies that will be performed.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Egg Harbor Township Police Department are jointly investigating the incidents.

It has become a standard operating procedure, that when there is an incident that results in a death in Atlantic County … The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office becomes directly involved as the lead law enforcement agency.
