Atlantic City, NJ, Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Pleasantville Store at Gunpoint
An Atlantic City man has admitted to robbing a food market in Pleasantville at gunpoint in 2021.
On Tuesday, 22-year-old Rahmir Brown pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun charges.
Brown admitted to brandishing a handgun and demanding money from a cashier at Joe’s Food Market on December 4th, 2021.
Under terms of a plea deal, Brown will likely be sentenced to five years in state prison with three years of parole supervision.

His prison sentence would be subject to the No Early Release Act, meaning he must serve 85% of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 7th.
