Readers, Listeners Pick Best Chicken Sandwiches In Atlantic City Area

If I could pick only one food to eat … it would be chicken. It’s high in protein, delicious and versatile. It’s not my absolute single favorite food choice … however, if I could only pick one food  … chicken is my winner.

We asked our wonderful readers, listeners, family members and friend foodies … Who makes the best chicken sandwich in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area.

We invited submissions on our social media Facebook Page … encouraging from both gourmet and fast food restaurants … all establishments were welcome to participate.

RESORTS CASINO HOTEL ATLANTIC CITY - BREADSTICKS RESTAURANT

The chicken is cooked to perfection. This is the Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City version. It’s their grilled chicken breast sandwich … marinated & char-grilled, with swiss cheese, chipotle mayonnaise and served on a toasted brioche bun.

CHICK-FIL-A

I love Chick-fil-A and so do many of our readers and listeners. Lauren Hurley Lauriello, Karen Hurley McDonald, Dan Gudauskis and others picked Chick-fil-A. Pictured above is the Grilled Chicken Club. It looks absolutely fabulous and delectable.

THE ANCHORAGE TAVERN - SOMERS POINT, NEW JERSEY

Just look at this monster sandwich (above) submitted by Joey Mac, who wrote us that ”Nothing beats the Anchorage Buffalo chicken sandwich! Nothing!!”

It is the buffalo chicken sandwich. Spencer Paul McDonald agrees saying that this The Anchorage Tavern offering is “unmatched.”

Don Purdy, Jr. and Joseph A. Korba also selected The Anchorage Tavern as his favorite grilled chicken sandwich.

THE WATER DOG SMOKE HOUSE - VENTNOR CITY, NEW JERSEY

No great list seems complete without Steve Marchel’s The Water Dog Smoke House in Ventnor City, New Jersey.

Steve has a great chicken sandwich named, "Rando Sando,“ described by Marchel as “Brined and breaded chicken cutlet, provolone, broccoli rabe, Balsamic Glaze on a seed Rando Sub Roll $12,” said Marchel.

Dot Enos Farrell wrote us that “My husband loves Julianos Pub and Grill chicken sandwich.

Doreen Prinzo submitted Superfrico at Caesar's Hotel & Casino “does a chicken parm on yummy bread with both pesto and marinara. So good.”

Dan Boyle “Had a grilled chicken with cheese and mushrooms at Texas Roadhouse which was fantastic.”

VAGABOND - EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY

Michael S. Finnerty chose The "Pops Chicken" or the "Mother Clucker" from EHT Vagabond; both are GREAT!”

Becky Norton Woods picks the Nashville hot chicken sandwich at Yesterday's Creekside Tavern in Marmora, calling it “amazing! So extremely flavorful and massive.” Here it is below:

Nancy Giannini selected the Pitney Market Galloway saying that it “has the best homemade chicken salad... Tailgaters has the best Santa Fe Chicken sandwich (I get it on a wrap with Asiago fried chicken) it's the best!!!”

Mike Friel write that “SOUTH ENDS Buffalo chicken sub yummmmy.”
