We Looked At Results From 2019, 2021 & 2023

In the 2019 election, Cape May Republicans delivered 58 percent of the total Republican vote in New Jersey Legislative District 1.
In 2021, this ticked-up to 58.5 percent of the total Republican vote.
In 2023, the CapeGOP delivered 60 percent of the total Republican vote.

70 percent of Michael Testa’s margin of victory came from the efforts of the CapeGOP, whereby they delivered 9,157 votes.

Testa won the small Atlantic County portion of the District 1 electorate by 691 votes.

Testa won Cumberland County, where he is also the Party Chairman by a margin of 3,366 votes.

So much so, that a Republican Nominee can win without any Republican votes in Cumberland or Atlantic County.

Incredibly, the Republican Nominee would still win a District 1 election by more than 9,000 votes, by CapeGOP led voting.

… Just like they did for many years when Congressman Jeff Van Drew was a Democrat.

Van Drew and anyone he decided to run with won with great regularity. They were unbeatable.
