School bus driver finds rifle in middle of a road in Berlin, NJ
If you're suddenly missing a rifle, a school bus driver in Camden County may have found it Wednesday morning.
According to the Berlin Police Department, at about 6:50 AM, their officers were called to South Arlington Avenue after they received a report that a school bus driver "located a 'handgun' in the street."
At the scene, cops found a rifle in the roadway, which they secured.
Police did not disclose any additional information and they say the incident remains under investigation.
Untrue Rumors
In a Facebook post, the department addressed some social media rumors that said the weapon was from the Berlin Police Department and/or one of its officers. They say neither claim is true.
