Rio Grande, N.J. — A Rio Grande man is facing drug distribution charges after a search warrant executed at his residence allegedly turned up methamphetamine and paraphernalia consistent with drug distribution.
53-year-old Joseph M. Quinn was charged Wednesday with third-degree distribution of CDS, third-degree possession of methamphetamine, and fourth-degree possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia.
Authorities seized less than half an ounce of methamphetamine and various items of paraphernalia associated with the distribution of controlled dangerous substances during the search.
The warrant was executed by the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations, the Middle Township Police Department, and the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team following a joint investigation into drug distribution in Rio Grande.
Quinn was processed and released on his own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
