
Road Rage: Truck Hit Twice by Gunfire on Route 55 in Vineland
An apparent road rage incident took place on Route 55 in Vineland early Sunday morning. Cops say the driver of one vehicle fired two shots at a pickup truck exiting the highway.
According to New Jersey State Police, at a little before 1AM Sunday, June 20, two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident that lasted several miles in the southbound lanes of Rt. 55.
As the driver of a Ford F-150 approached exit 35 in Vineland, the driver of a white SUV fired shots at the truck, striking it twice. The driver, described as a light-skinned man, and a white female passenger continued driving and fled the scene.
Troopers from the State Police Port Norris Station were called to investigate.
