Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Was All In For Steve Fulop For Governor of New Jersey

During the 2025 Democrat Primary Election, Small and Fulop were closely, politically aligned. Small was a campaign finance chairman for Fulop … even after Small was indicted for numerous alleged offenses.

Steve Fulop has desperately wanted to be the next Governor of New Jersey for well more than a decade.

Fulop has always politically angled for the next thing, before he even had the first thing.

Fulop Served With Subpoena In Atlantic City Case

We broke the news back on April 24, 2025, that Fulop received a subpoena, commanding his testimony in an Atlantic City case filed by attorney David Castellani on behalf of his client, John Devlin.

Fulop & Small Tried To Quash Subpoenas

Both Fulop, Small and the City of Atlantic City tried to duck the subpoenas. They all filed motions to try and quash subpoenas and avoid testifying under oath.

Small Is An Impediment To Progress In Atlantic City

Small has been controversial, ineffective and an overall impediment to progress in Atlantic City.

Small has absolutely no working relationship with Senator Vince Polistina, who has had to go it alone with an ambitious agenda to improve the prospects in Atlantic City.

Despite the Small impediment, Polistina has been incredibly effective in helping Atlantic City to recapture a return its glory days as The World's Play Ground.

Mikie Sherrill & Marty Small Are Now Politically Aligned — Despite All Of The Criminal Charges

The two were all hugs at a recent joint appearance in Atlantic City.

Both Marty and La’Quetta Small face serious, disqualifying criminal charges for alleged child abuse offenses.

A second Atlantic County Grand Jury indicted Marty Small on alleged witness tampering.

Here Is What New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury Wrote About Marty and La'Quetta Small

DeLury previously denied a desperate motion to dismiss all of the criminal charges, writing:

The conduct captured in the video and audio recordings of the treatment of J.S. at the hands of her parents obtained by the State clearly provide a basis for a prosecution under the endangerment statute, said Judge DeLury.

NOTE: J.S. are the initials of Marty & La’Quetta Small’s daughter.

Marty Small will stand trial on December 1, 2025 and La’Quetta Small on January 12, 2026.
