Soap Opera & NYPD Blues Star, w/Atlantic City Area Ties Arrested

”Greg & Jenny” from “All My Children” is one of the greatest love stories in soap opera history.

It propelled Kim Delaney to super stardom.

At the peak of Delaney’s fame, her parents lived in Ventnor City, New Jersey on the beautiful beach block of Stratford Avenue.

Delaney also portrayed famed reporter Jackie Templeton on ”General Hospital.”

Delaney had a successful long-running role as Detective Diane Russell on the hit ABC television series “NYPD Blues.”

Delaney won an EMMY in 1997 and she was also nominated in 1998 and 1999.

TMZ was the first that I saw break the news that Kim Delaney has been arrested on felony assault charges (allegedly) with a deadly weapon.

Her husband, James Morgan was also charged and released on a $ 20,000 bond.

They have been married for about 2 1/2 years.

Apparently, Delaney remains in jail. They both have a court appearance scheduled for today.

Law enforcement deputies from the Marina Del Rey Sheriff's Station responded to a domestic disturbance at their Los Angeles home, according to both People Magazine and TMZ.

TMZ reported that an argument became physical.

The charges are as follows:

Delaney was allegedly charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon.
Morgan was charged with misdemeanor battery.

Delaney spent considerable time in Ventnor City, decades ago.

NOTE: My twin brother, Don met Kim Delaney at the Ventnor City home and told me many years ago how nice and unaffected by her acting fame (Kim Delaney) was.
