Yesterday, Spirit Airlines President and CEO, Dave Davis released a public statement that confirmed that Spirit Airlines voluntary entered Chapter 11 restructuring.

That they might not guarantee that they would be in operation one year from now.

In the midst of this latest round of financial restructuring, Spirit Airlines faces it’s first real competitor at Atlantic City Airlines in the form of Allegiant Airlines.
