The Passaic River at Little Falls, Pine Brook and Singac remain at or above flood stage as of Friday morning. The river at Pine Brook is projected to continue rising after the next rain storm peaking Saturday night at 22 feet, three feet about flood stage.

Officials announced Thursday they will spend more than $15M in state and federal funds to address rising gun violence, including $8.2M for community groups and the rest for high-tech police technology.

The union says that releasing the names would violate longstanding agreements to keep disciplinary records confidential and that identifying troopers would lead to harassment of their families.
