Two women from Ocean County are headed to jail for less than a year in connection to an animal cruelty case.

Christian Kohl, of Brick, was arrested after months of online chatting with an undercover detective, according to police.

Julie Rizzitello, of Brick, faces additional charges involving a second student, prosecutors said, following her arrest on July 3.
