A gunman opened fire in a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs on Saturday night, killing five people and leaving 18 injured before he was subdued by “heroic” patrons.

Federal authorities say a Colorado man was arrested Wednesday for conspiring to unlawfully transport firearms via the internet to New Jersey.

A police officer who was ambushed and killed in Colorado last Monday was from New Jersey.
