Cougar

For almost a year now, we have received dozens of reports from around the state from people who claim to have seen a mountain lion, also known as a cougar.

What started out with a sighting in Galloway has snowballed to sightings almost all across the state.

A woman from South Jersey says she saw what she thinks was a mountain lion in Cumberland County Saturday night (November 19, 2022).

This week, a woman said she was walking her dog on Seaview Avenue in Galloway Township when they were approached by a cougar or mountain lion.
