New Jersey has abolished its remaining fines and fees levied in juvenile court and will soon erase any outstanding debts children and their families may have accumulated from those convictions.
Senate and Assembly committees Thursday endorsed a 45-day extension of emergency powers exercised by Gov. Phil Murphy since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020.
