A former powerful Newark city official faces years in prison for taking cash bribes and jewelry from two businessmen in a corrupt redevelopment scheme.
Authorities are offer a reward of tens of thousands of dollars to anyone who helps investigators find who shot a Newark imam to death outside a mosque in January.
Essex County correctional officer Sherman Bardouille, 31, from Irvington, and Tamir Lee, 42, a from Newark, were riding eastbound near Exit 43 in Berkeley Heights at the time of the crash Sunday evening.
