Oskar Lindblom, who exited the Flyers' line-up after his diagnosis with Ewing’s sarcoma in December, was on the ice Tuesday in Voorhees during phase two workouts.
Whether they are frequent visitors to a ballpark or stadium, or just enjoy a game on TV, this is a hit to one of the greatest recreations that people have in life.
"It was great having Oskar in the team picture," said Flyers coach Alain Vigneault. "He was in great spirits, it was a real good morning for everybody."
January becomes all about establishing an identity. The Flyers were on their way to establishing a good one. On their recent road trip, all of that vanished.
Nothing changes for Oskar Lindblom on his new journey following a diagnosis of Ewing's sarcoma. He’s already had to fight to make it to the NHL -- his new journey and fight to beat this disease is one he’s ready to face, too.
Lindblom has been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a form of bone cancer, and is not expected to return to play for the remainder of the 2019-20 season.
