The attorney for Rashid Ali Bynum entered a not guilty plea and called the evidence circumstantial against his client and was not enough to hold his client.
Rashid Bynum was arrested on May 30 at his home in Virginia with the death of Eunice Dwumfour but did not waive an extradition hearing to bring him to New Jersey to face charges in the case.
The family of Eunice Dwomfour is concerned about the thoroughness of the investigation into the councilwoman's death after a potentially key piece of evidence was overlooked.
