Pablo Cicero, of Edison, is charged with murder and attempted murder for the killing of Brandon Andrews-Cruz and for wounding a South Plainfield woman whom he knew, police said.
Thomas Kaiser, charged in connection with the explosion of a device in a Manville park, discarded explosives at his South Plainfield home in 2019 which led to the cancellation of the Labor Day parade.
Police said a signal cannon, a device designed to create a large boom and smoke when lit, sent shrapnel into several vehicles and homes near a Manville park.
Herman Walker, 91, died two weeks after being assaulted by a roommate at a Westfield facility. Clara Sutkowski, also 91, died three days after being struck by a fellow resident at a South Plainfield facility.
