A 16-year-old from Atlantic City is facing a long list of charges after cops say he robbed a man at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

Cops say the scene unfolded around 1:30 AM as officers responded to the 1300 block of Pacific Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim, a 37-year-old man from Atlantic City, was approached by a 16-year-old male and robbed of his bike at gunpoint.

Upon hearing the description of the suspect, personnel working in the ACPD's Surveillance Center recalled seeing someone fitting that description on a bicycle on Atlantic Avenue near the time of the robbery. A review of footage revealed the suspect entered a store in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue where he was arrested. The teen was taken into custody and found in possession of a loaded handgun and 18 bags of heroin.

The teen has been charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, and a curfew violation. He was remanded to Harborfields Detention Facility.
