For the first time in years, the New York Giants are good and will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday night at 8:15.

So you're definitely looking for a place to watch the game. But where? There are plenty of options in the Atlantic City area to watch football with a few drinks.

But you can't just go anywhere, you need to be at a place that has excellent TV placement (and the sound on is a major plus).

The key here is TV placement. The establishment must have excellent televisions and placement so that you can see from all angles. I made the mistake during the Phillies World Series of not doing enough recon on the TV situation and ended up in a spot that was not suitable to watch a World Series game or an NFL playoff game.

Don't make that mistake, go to one of these spots.

Here are the 10 best sports bars to watch the Eagles vs Giants game: (In no particular order)

1. Vagabond: 3016 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor Township

While the food and beer at the Atlantic City version are outstanding, if you want to watch the Eagles game, the EHT spot is the place to be.  With 30 TVs at the bar and dining area, which are at a good eye level, you will be able to see the game from wherever you are. As you can see in the picture above, for any seat you have at the bar, you will be able to see the game.

2. Charlies Bar: 800 Shore Rd, Somers Point

At the Shore since 44 is their motto, but TV is their strength.  Another bar where we can sit at the bar anywhere and see the game.  They have huge big screens on the back walls so if you are there for dinner you can see everything. They also have a TV in the back dining room that everyone can see and a bar in the back if the crowd is pretty big, you can sneak back there.

3. Tailgaters: 337 W White Horse Pike, Galloway

This sports bar has a great menu, but most importantly, there are TVs everywhere with audio on game days...and that is a huge key! The TVs at the bar are big enough that you can see the game, and there are enough TVs around the dining area that you can enjoy dinner and still see everything.

As you can see in the photo, there is TVs at the bar and they are big enough for everyone to see on all four sides of the bar.  Sitting at a booth?  TVs are on the wall all over, so you won't miss a snap.

4. Chickie's & Pete in EHT and AC

Both locations have a great TV setup for the games.  Keep in Mind the Flyers and Sixers also play on Saturday night, so they have plenty of TVs to accommodate that as well, but the Eagles will be key and they have plenty going on at both locations.

The dining areas have plenty of TVs and the bar area has plenty of TVs and the sound will be on.

I watched the Eagles vs Saints playoff game here a few years ago, a loss, but a fun time with great TV.

5. Yesterday's: 316 Roosevelt Blvd, Marmora

Another spot that will have the sound on for the game and has become the go-to spot to watch the Eagles game.

They have plenty of specials that will be going on for all the games this weekend and have a great menu, but it's the TV setup that has me thinking about watching the game here!

6. Wonder Bar: 3701 Sunset Ave, Atlantic City

I watched the Eagles play the Vikings in the NFC Championship game here, so good vibes about this place for watching a big game.  A couple of TVs that are big enough in front of you at the bar and also behind you if you are sitting to eat or want to turn around to high-five some friends.

7. Ducktown: 2400 Atlantic Ave, Atlantic City

The Ducktown Tavern is a great spot to watch the games.  It's got two rooms, with tons of TVs and while it could be a tight fit, there is room to roam, sit or stand at the bar. You can sit down and see the game or post up and watch the game.  The moral of the story, TV placement is great, you won't miss a play!

8. South 9 Bar and Grille: 1010 S Rte 9, Cape May Court House

When I asked my Cape May County friends to give me their favorite spot to watch the game, this spot came up multiple times.   It's great a great vibe, but better yet, it's got great TVs, and the most important thing for this exercise.   Many places are local favorites or a place to meet friends, but TV placement is king here and this place comes up big in that area!

9. Owens Pub: 119 E 17th Ave, North Wildwood

17 TV's eye level.  Yep, that's exactly what I am looking for.  When asking my friends in the Wildwood area where to go for the USA soccer game, Owens was the answer. When I asked where is the spot for Eagles games, without hesitation, it was Owens Pub.

10. AC Sports Books

While I don't think one is better than the other, that's up to you to pick, they ALL have great TV setups.  I am at Ocean every Monday and think their TV setup is great (pictured), but you simply can't go wrong if you want to watch the game at an AC Sports book, it's exactly what they were designed for.
