The Beatles Sir Paul McCartney Has Ties To New Jersey

New Jersey has direct ties to so many musical greats: Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Count Basie, Jon Bon Jovi, Dionne Warwick, Paul Simon, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Queen Latifa and Kool & The Gang to name a few.

Now you can add the legendary Sir Paul McCartney to this impressive list.

You can see McCartney in New Jersey (from time-to-time) with his wife, Nancy Shevell, who grew up in Edison.

Shevell attended J.P. Stevens High School.

McCartney and Shevell have been spotted at Asbury Park’s Jimmy’s Italian Restaurant in 2017 and the Blue Café, located in Basking Ridge in December, 2022.

When McCartney spends time in New Jersey, many people have commented about how unassuming he is.

This is also my own personal experience with Sir Paul McCartney.

I spent about 45 minutes with Sir Paul on September 28, 2002. He was so relatable, kind and humble. We had an amazing conversation … that I still can’t believe ever happened.

There’s an old expression: “The Bigger They Are … The Nicer They Are.”
