The Perfect Atlantic City, NJ, Sausage Pizza (Photos)
This past Friday, we enjoyed the perfect sausage pizza, prepared by the talented pizza maker at Tony’s Baltimore Grill in Atlantic City.
My sister Karen had it for lunch and took out more than half of it for another few meals … such as next morning pizza breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We took out a sausage pizza for my wife Margie and I and a pepperoni pizza for our Grandson, Noah.
Margie and I had another mainstay of the Tony’s Baltimore Grill job … the spaghetti and meatballs.
I really love Tony’s spaghetti sauce and the meatballs (you get two of them) are large, super fresh and have such great flavor and texture.
If course, it comes with the incomparable Atlantic City Italian bread.
Here is a look at our spaghetti and meatballs entrée from this past Saturday lunch.
I recently wrote a dedicated article about how Tony’s Baltimore Grill has been making their pizzas since 1927.
That alone is amazing. Tony’s has been open for nearly a century.
The fresh sausage is placed on the pizza raw and then it is cooked for 20 minutes and out comes the perfect 12-inch pizza.
The sausage incorporates so wonderfully with the pizza sauce and cheese. It adds texture and great flavor to the pizza.
Regarding Tony’s fantastic meatballs. They are made fresh on a near daily basis.
One of the biggest compliments that you can pay to a restaurant is when they achieve consistency on a regular basis.
The Tony’s Baltimore Grill pizza, along with the spaghetti and meatballs are always the same, high quality.
They really do nail it from a quality assurance standpoint.
My family and I enjoy both our in restaurant and takeout experiences at Tony’s Baltimore Grill.
Below, is a nice photo gallery of 10 great restaurants in the Atlantic City area and photos of outstanding main course entrées that they serve now or did so in the recent past.
Bon appétit.
