Toys 'R' Us has officially made a come back in NJ.

After the toy retail chain filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and all of their stores across the country closed, New Jersey has welcomed a new location inside the Paramus, New Jersey at the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall for the holiday season last Wednesday.

And if you happen to stop by the store on Wednesday, you got experience a special treat. Shoppers were greeted by none other then the famous store mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe.

According to NJ.com, the location is a lot smaller then past Toys 'R' Us locations, "At approximately 6,000 square feet, the second-floor store is several times smaller than the freestanding Toys 'R' Us buildings."

So how did NJ get so lucky to be one of the few Toys 'R' Us locations that get to make a quick come back? The store, which is now under new ownership, had chosen to place the Toys 'R' Us holiday pop-up store in NJ for a few key reasons. One is because the Toys 'R' Us' headquarters was located in NJ.
