Two $100,000 Winners: NJ Lottery Players in South Jersey Score Big
Not one, but two people in South Jersey are having quite a good work week.
You would be, too, if you just won $100,000 -- or more -- playing the New Jersey Lottery.
Jersey Cash 5 winner
Lottery officials say one lucky Jersey Cash 5 ticket matched all five numbers drawn on Monday, July 10th, good for a $127,447 payout.
Those winning numbers were 04, 10, 16, 25 and 31 and the XTRA number was 04.
That winning ticket was sold at SRI One Liquors on the White Horse Pike in Chesilhurst, Camden County.
Powerball winner at Wawa
Meanwhile, another lottery player at a South Jersey Wawa just scored big.
Two Powerball tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn Monday night, making each one worth $100,000.
The winning numbers were 02, 24, 34, 53, and 58; the red Power Ball number was 13 and the Power Play was 2X.
One of those tickets was sold at Wawa on Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood -- locally known as the Doo-wop Wawa -- and the other at a liquor store in Newark.
Gotta have a Wawa
Earlier this week, one person won over $66,600 on a $2 Jersey Jackpot ticket that was purchased at a Wawa store in Mercer County.
