Two Arrested After Three Men Rob a Person at Knifepoint in Atlantic City
Atlantic City Police have arrested two men in their 20s and continue to search for a third person after a person was robbed at knifepoint in the city Friday evening.
Cops say a 27-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint by three men in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue around 5:30 Friday evening. The victim had his wallet and cell phone stolen after he was cornered against a wall. Officers say the victim was able to push one of the suspects away and he fled the area.
Later Friday night, officers stopped a group of men near the robbery spot. Two of the men, 21-year-old Messiah Henry and 23-year-old Robert Timmons, both of Atlantic City, were taken into custody after it was determined that they were involved in the robbery.
Both Henry and Timmons were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and theft and remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
