Two Females Are Pregnant At NJ Prison By Transgender Inmate
At a New Jersey prison that Governor Phil Murphy already wants to close, it is now confirmed that two female prisoners at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility are pregnant and reportedly impregnated by a transgender inmate, as first reported by NJ Advance Media.
As part of a prior settlement, a policy was put in effect whereby prisoners were able to be housed according to their declared gender identity.
NJ.com has previously reported that The Edna Mahan currently houses 27 transgender inmates.

These latest incidents follow a very rough period when multiple sexual abuse charges among guards. 15 prison guards have been criminally charged, which prompted Governor Murphy to announce that he will be closing the correctional facility.
