
Unconscious Man Crashes Car in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey
The Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Police Department is investigating a car crash that involved an unconscious driver, who apparently suffered a medical incident.
The crash occurred on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the intersection of the Black Horse Pike & Spruce Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Egg Harbor Township Police Say
Investigation on scene revealed that a 2025 International MV607, operated by 47-year-old George Keller from Pennsylvania, was traveling south on Spruce Avenue approaching the Black Horse Pike, when he appeared to suffer a medical episode rendering him unconscious behind the wheel. The vehicle traveled uncontrolled across the intersection of the Black Horse Pike, with the driver now unconscious, and crashed head on into a 2013 Dodge truck waiting at the red light while northbound on Spruce Ave. The Dodge truck was being operated by 62-year-old Edward Mulligan of Little Egg Harbor. Neither of the drivers sustained any injury as a result of the low-speed impact, said the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
Keller Had To Be Extricated From Car
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department has confirmed that Keller was turned over to EMTs from the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and Paramedics from AtlantiCare.
Volunteers from Cardiff and Farmington Fire Departments also responded. Kelly was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Hospital for treatment.
