I Went To Atlantic City Hall & This Is What I Saw [Photos]
It had been a number of years since I visited Atlantic City Hall. Yesterday, I decided to attend a press conference that was held at the office of Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small.
I purposely arrived one hour before the press conference began — because I wanted to share a review of my observations of Atlantic City Hall.
I arrived at 2:00 p.m. with no preconceived notions about what I would encounter.
What I Observed

First, the exterior of Atlantic City Hall looked fantastic. I would go as far as to say that it’s never looked better. It was clean and the new courtyard is beautiful.

Lobby Area

Looks great. The registration staff were polite, courteous and professional. The screening process (through the metal detector) was polished and flawless.
I saw “The Great Day Café” for the first time. It looked great and it has been well received.

At every turn, I saw an attention to detail that was impressive. The above photo is just one example. Look below, this logo (on the floor) in the 7th floor lobby really “pops.”

The decor is tasteful and the Mayor’s Office is a professional and polished operation.
The staff are highly professional and there is a demonstrated service culture that has been successfully instilled at Atlantic City Hall by Mayor Small.
I directly encountered at least 15 or more staff members. Each one was polite, attentive and professional.
The “Bricks & Mortar” At Atlantic City Hall Are Impressive — But, The Employees Are Much Better

Every week, we select and announce on-air “The Hurley in the Morning Hero of The Week.”
This week, we have selected the Atlantic City Hall Employees as our “Heroes of The Week.”
Later today, we will reveal their official certificate. It will look like the one above that we awarded to Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small back on August 14, 2026.

These are just some of my observations about the physical plant and service culture that Mayor Small has put in place at Atlantic City Hall.
The staff exhibit pride in their workplace and it shows. I had a very nice visit, yesterday.
This is a glowing review — not to be nice — but, because it is exactly what I observed.
