When Will Boats Be Back In The Water In Atlantic City Marina?
We have continued to shine the light of truth about what Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small was doing to long-standing businesses at Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Gardner’s Basin in the run up to this season.
The businesses were all surprised on April 1, 2023 when Small sent them unwelcome letters that they would not be able to have their boats in the water.
The letter was titled:
"Notification of Continued Close of Seasonal Operations Due To Dredging."
No one saw this coming!
Following much stress and uncertainty for these water-related local businesses, good news has finally arrived.
Captain Jeff George is back at the beautiful Gardner’s Basin since last weekend with his Crusin1 ship.
George took the approach of ignoring the unexpected bad news and partnered closely and cooperatively with Small and others to work through the various issues.
The popular Highroller Fishing tour was also back in the water last weekend at Gardner’s Basin with their flounder fishing trip from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Highroller Fishing in Gardner's Basin, has been owned and operated by The Tabasso Family for the past 20 years. it's a wonderful family party fishing experience.
The Atlantic City Tiki Boat and Atlantic City Parasailing have not yet returned to the water … but, are expected to do so on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Gardner’s Basin.
We have not as yet confirmed this, but, we are also hopeful that the Lobster Boat, with Frank Cook, who has managed the last lobster boat in Atlantic City's Gardner's Basin will also return.
Koch has been in operation at Gardner’s Basin for the past 30-40 years.
After a very rough start … totally beyond the control of these popular Atlantic City businesses … things are now on track for a great Spring and Summer seasons.
