With New Build, Sweetwater Riverdeck Looking to Open Year Round

Since the end of summer, not much has been happening at the Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck.

On the other hand, since the end of summer, a lot has been happening at the Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck.

While the popular outdoor bar and restaurant on the Mullica River has been closed, construction has occurred with the owners eyeing a year-round venue, starting sometime in 2020.

On it's Facebook page, Sweetwater Riverdeck has made the following revelation:

We demolished the building back in October and are getting ready to start construction on the new building in the upcoming week!

The new building will allow us to stay open year round and host larger events, such as weddings and parties. We know that one of the best parts of hanging at the Riverdeck is getting to enjoy the view and the sunshine so there will still be plenty of space for that!

According to Facebook, construction of the new building is expected to start next week.
