Woman Found Dead: Atlantic City, NJ, Death Investigation Underway

A joint death investigation of the Atlantic City Police Department and Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is currently underway.

Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Has Released The Following Information

On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at approximately 4:47a.m., the Atlantic City Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting an unresponsive female inside of a hotel room at the Harrah's Resort Atlantic City. Police and emergency medical services responded and found a 41-year-old female who was deceased. The body was removed by the New Jersey Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office and an autopsy is pending. The circumstances of the female's death are currently under investigation by the Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
