Cops in Atlantic City say a woman was rescued from prostitution and a man and woman were arrested Wednesday night.

The ACPD says their officers responded to the Rodeway Inn on the beach block of North Carolina Avenue for a report of people in a motel room with a gun and drugs.

Three people in the room all exited after commands from officers outside. Inside the room, a loaded handgun, cocaine, and marijuana were located.

Police say,

An investigation by the officers and Detective Jaimee Moore of the Special Investigations Section revealed that one occupant, a 30-year-old woman, was being forced into prostitution by Bryant Siderio. Siderio threatened the victim with physical violence and refused to allow her to leave. Siderio and another occupant, Jada Bell, were arrested.

Siderio, 38-years-old from Bridgeton, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity magazine, certain person not to possess a weapon, criminal restraint, promoting prostitution, terroristic threats, and possession of CDS (two counts).

23-year-old Jada Bell of Atlantic City was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity magazine, and possession of CDS (two counts).

Both individuals were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
