71-year-old Woodbine, NJ, man facing child porn charge; police seize 6 computers
A man from Woodbine has been arrested after authorities say he viewed and possessed child porn.
The Cape May County Prosecutor's Office says 71-year-old Douglas Gotthold of Franklin Street is facing one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child/possession of child pornography.
An investigation began after local officials received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
On Friday, numerous local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at Gotthold's home and six computers were seized, all of which are now being analyzed.
As a result ... it was determined that Douglas Gotthold possessed/viewed Child Sexual Abuse Material.
Gotthod is currently being held in the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.

Those convicted of a third-degree crime in New Jersey face three to five years in prison.
Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland thanked troopers with the New Jersey State Police Woodbine Barracks, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI - Atlantic City), and the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team for their work on this case.
