Domestic Violence: Woman Strangled, Man Charged With Murder in Millville, NJ

Authorities in Cumberland County say a domestic violence incident turned deadly Monday and a 24-year-old man has been charged with murder.

The scene unfolded at a home on the 200 block of Riverside Drive in Millville.

There, officers found a 25-year-old woman dead from apparent strangulation.

24-year-old Steven Gonzalez of the same residence was taken into custody by members of the Vineland Police Department at a family member's home.

Gonzalez has been charged with first-degree murder and second-degree aggravated assault.

The identity of the victim was not released.
