Drug Distribution Arrest in Hamilton Township

Sunday evening, Hamilton Township Police responded to a residence in the Woodlands Complex to arrest Hassan Muhammad on outstanding warrants. Upon arrival Officers made contact with Mr. Muhammad. While arresting him they smelled the heavy odor of raw marijuana emanating from the house.

After obtaining a search warrant, the residence was searched and yielded approximately 114 grams of marijuana,10 bags of heroin, a Narcotics scale, packaging material for heroin and packaging material for marijuana. All items were seized. In addition, Mr. Muhammad was found to be an unregistered sex offender with Hamilton Township.

Mr. Muhammad was charged with 4th degree Possession of Marijuana; Distribution of Marijuana; 3rd degree Possession of Heroin, Distribution of Heroin, Narcotic Paraphernalia, and Failure to Register after a change of address. Bail was set at $100,000.
