I didn’t have to look far to find the best deviled eggs in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area.

They are made by my wife Margie during our many holiday family gatherings.

Most recently, Margie made her fabulous deviled eggs for our St. Patrick’s Day family feast.

Here they are:

I enjoy eating them in two wonderful, flavorful bites.

They explode with flavor and different textures.

Here are the ingredients:

It’s not complicated, however, you do need to pay attention to how much of each ingredient you decide to add.

It is a bit of experimentation to arrive at how much flavor you want to infuse in these delicious beauties!

If you’re wondering where did deviled eggs originate … according to the History Channel, “deviled eggs go all the way back to ancient Rome, where eggs were boiled, seasoned with spicy sauces.”

In a split decision, still others believe that deviled eggs may have started in medieval Europe.

They were considered to be a “luxurious and decadent snack.”

In parts of Southern and Midwestern United States, they don’t like to use the word “deviled.”

They call them "stuffed eggs", "salad eggs" and “dressed eggs.”

To avoid using the word devil, some also call them “angel” eggs.

For me, they’ll always be “deviled eggs.”

Here is a look at our fabulous St. Patrick’s Day 2024 Hurley Family Feast.
